At night, the sea in Holbox lights up and shines with thousands of lights. 
 
We invite you to come and enjoy this experience and, if you wish, swim in the magnificent bioluminescence that the elders of the island call ardentilla. You will learn more about this incredible natural spectacle and you will also enjoy a unique starry sky, accompanied by our guides who will make this tour unforgettable.
The bioluminescence is visible all year round; it varies in intensity according to the temperature of the water and the best season is from June to October, when the water is warmer. The rest of the year, depending on the climate, the wind, the currents etc, there are nights when you see little or none at all.

Meeting point: in front of the reception of your hotel (if the state of the roads allows us to pick you up)
Departure: between 6 p.m. and 4 a.m.
The tour schedule is calculated according to the lunar cycle and the activity is suspended on full moon nights.

Included: local guide in spanish (basic english), depending on the state of the streets and where you are staying, taxi one way only, contribution to CONANP (National Commission for Protected Natural Areas)
Does not include: tip, return taxi.
Bring/wear: wear your swimsuit, towel, mosquito repellent, a little money for a return taxi 

The kayaking tour ends on the beach, near the Mosquito bar restaurant. Count 25 minutes on foot to the center, where you can maybe find a taxi.
